Welcome to The Old School Tearooms, situated in Carburton, near Clumber Park. We are open Tuesday - Sunday (and Bank Holidays) 10am - 4pm offering a choice of breakfast, light lunches and specials. For a more traditional approach we have a selection of freshly baked scones, to accompany afternoon tea or cream tea. It doesn't just stop with tea we are proud to say we serve Illy Coffee, perfectly prepared by our trained baristas who offer a warm welcome and an enjoyable stay.

In 2013 The Old School Tearooms was taken over by Paul and Maryse Lambley, The Tearooms was reonvated to make it more homely and welcoming whilst keeping the character of the 1930's school.

In May of 2018, Paul sadly passed away, but the dream and passion to provide quality afternoon tea, meals, scones and cakes stayed within the family. The tearooms is now run by Maryse, Jedd & Kelly (Son and Daughter-in-Law)

In June 2019 we had our premises license granted so we can serve alcohol.
